It’s the season of giving. Big, small, lavish, or just right, it’s the time when we all have a gift to give. I love to give this particular cheap and easy Christmas gift to neighbors and friends, and it will also work as a hostess or teacher/bus driver/office gift. The best part? It takes five minutes and can be put together for under five dollars (hello, dollar store). Of course, you can make it as nice as you want, so get on it. Check out the five minute five dollar Christmas gift:

You’ll need:

  1. A holiday-themed dish towel (look for multiple packs and split)
  2. A holiday-themed cookie cutter (look for multiple packs and split)
  3. A holiday-themed spatula (or plain works!)
  4. A package of cookie mix
  5. TONS of ribbon
  6. Don’t forget a swanky tag!

Happy gifting!

Christmas Cookie Gift version 2Under $20 versions using darling dishtowels from Etsy:

Cookie cutter: 1.74

Dishtowel: $10 (including shipping)

Cookie mix: $1.89

Spatula: $1.99

While I tried to do an under $5 version with all contents from the Dollar Tree, they just didn’t have everything I needed. They did have the cookie mix and a great spatula. Unfortunately, I struck out on the cookie cutter and the holiday towel (didn’t like the choices). Still, you might have great luck at your location, so give it a go!
